Haines Watts have donated to the Trussell Trust’s foodbank depot in Slough after running a Christmas collection campaign at their offices.
Jane Wills, Partner at the Slough office, said, “While the cost of living is rising and things are generally tougher for many families, at this time of year it’s particularly hard and especially for those relying on foodbanks. Thanks to everyone who helped us and gave so generously to our collection.”
Between 1st April 2016 and 31st March 2017, 1,182,954 three-day emergency food
supplies were provided to people in crisis by Trussell Trust foodbanks. During this period, 10,594 were given to people in Berkshire.
